Hobart Walking Food Tour

Would you like to explore some of Tasmania’s unique food producers? We will take you on a walking tour (or a driving tour if you wish) to see some of our fine Tasmanian food producers. Be prepared for a day of indulgence as we share with you a chocolatier, a cheese maker, a whisky producer, an organic bakery, fresh seafood, the best patisserie and a salmon producer. The best part is you get to choose the type of food places you want to go to and we can design the tour around you. We will eat and nibble our way through Hobart together and tell you all about our producers.

Hobart Whisky Tour

There is nothing quite as nice as a warming whisky in these cool winter months… well in fact we like them at any time. Did you know Hobart is packed full of specialised whisky makers unique to our state. Tasmania is becoming world known for its fine whisky’s and we would love to share them with you. You will indulge and enjoy a variety of tastings and can purchase some treats to take home, if they get that far.

Hobart Wine Tour

Hobart is placed in a perfect position. It is a small town surrounded by magnificent countryside.  Within that country side are lots of little and large wineries that can be visited in a day trip. Some of the wineries are small boutique wineries and some are large scale wineries that are long established. It’s a half hour drive to any of them but in our tour we include a least 3 or 4 wineries depending on what you want  along with some cheese makers just to mix it up  bit. Tasmanian wine is among the best in the world. We know that and we would love to share it with you.

Mount Field National Park Tasmania

Mt Field National Park is one of Tasmania’s most loved national parks. The park has a wide variety of scenic features and wildlife and offers a great range of facilities for day visitors. Few other national parks in Australia offer such a diversity in vegetation, ranging from tall swamp gum forests and massive tree ferns at the base of the mountain, through rainforest along the Lake Dobson Road, to alpine vegetation at the higher elevations.

Fossil Cove Hobart

Fossil Cove is one of those little gems you wish you’d discovered earlier. It’s such a short walk for a great reward. The track leads down some steep steps through light bushland to the gorgeous cove with views across to the Iron Pot lighthouse. The cove is flanked by a large rock archway on one side and a fascinating fossil-filled wave-cut platform on the other – both can be safely explored at low tide. Snorkelling is popular amongst the kelp beds around the shoreline, though be sure to do this in fine weather.
